PR Updates
HELL YEAH I FINALLY HAVE SOME PRs!!!
Front Squat: 180# (+5#)
Back Squat: 250# (+35#)
SO SO SO excited about those! Cannot even begin to explain the elation.
You’ll also note that I lost another pound. This may not seem significant, but it is for 2 reasons.
#1. My oly coach told me I wasn’t eating enough. So the past several weeks I have worked on eating more. This translated into losing weight, not gaining weight like I thought it would. So that’s pretty legit.
#2. 135 has always been that unattainable weight. The “there’s no way I’ll ever get to it” weight. I haven’t seen it on the scale since I started this journey and it COMPLETELY snuck up and surprised me yesterday when I weighed in. I had to blink and get back on the scale a few times to convince myself it was there. So, there’s that also.
I’ll leave you with this…. a freshie on GSR asked me to explain crossfit to her last night. Of course, being a Kool-Aid drinker, I launched into a whole description and also decided to dig up some photos for her to show her my “transformation.” I’ve never really done this before and I was kind of shocked to see what I found. Figured I would show you all too. Because, why not? You know everything else anyway..
I’m chasing all you boys! Someone needs to do work now that Khirika is gone. 🙁
Also, the overhead position of your snatch is spot on. I’m jealous.
Thank you! Now if only I could get under the bar…. I can OHS 165# but I can only snatch 115# (and that only happened one time)….
